Does anyone know how to use a Dial-by-Last name Directory on a regular telephone?
Please note, I am using a regular land-line telephone at home. I am not referring to using a cell phone.
I am trying to reach a person at a company regarding a job using the dial by last name feature. How would I dial the letters “I” followed by the letter “A”? The keypad number 4 on the telephone has three letters on the keypad (“G”, “H”, and “I”). I need to dial the last letter on the number 4 keypad.
Can anyone help? I need to reach this person about a job because I am unemployed, and desperately need to find work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The automated directory takes into account the fact that there are 3 or 4 letters on each key. Just type in the keys that spell out the name. If there is more than one person in the directory with those keys, you will be given a choice of which person you’re trying to reach.
